Hi All,

Recently joined this forum after getting the URL from, of all places - my adwords placement report.

Anyway - I'm a software developer with limited networking knowledge (generally enough to get me by doing what I do) and I had a need for a pix to give me VPN access when i'm out and about....and a little extra firewall protection can't hurt can it?

Unfortunately, I can't get it working properly.... its ALMOST right, but its a bit over zealous on who its protecting from what, it seems to be doing a bang up job of protecting the internet from me, of all things

I can just about browse the web (igoogle doesnt come up properly, google search links dont work, but bbc, my online bank etc worked ok) - and I can't send email (i connect to a dedicated server via outlook, using POP/SMTP). God knows what else is going on so, once again i've disconnected the device.

Is there a kind soul out there who can help with a configuration setup? Unfortunately I can't pay (startup business, NO money!!), so i'm looking for favours. It really shouldn't be difficult, but its just not working for me whatsoever.

I am willing to help you, but I'm not sure how far you are away from me. Perhaps you could PM me your address?
I could attempt to sort this remotely, but as you can imagine configuring firewalls remotely is not always the easiest task in the world.

I can get the thing working, its just the access rules and/or routing/port forwarding that are letting me down.

My network going out is on a static IP, all my devices internally are on static IPs.

So if I could provide a list of those IPs are you able to send me a set of access rules? :-)
