Hi, my name is Claire and I am a 31 year old gal, living in Lincolnshire.

I'm currently working on designing and putting together my own ecommerce online store.

I am working on a shoe-string (underestimation!!) however, I have enough drive and determination, as well as persistance and patience, to prove to anyone, anyone whom like me, have no savings or anyone to help with start up that, you can succeed. (I believe truly that this is possible, even with NO spare cash) I do work full time, for a mobile phone company and I am a sales advisor. I dont work for P4U but I work for an independant, UK provider, directly on the high street. (I love them, they are the best)!!

Although I like my job, I struggle. (Like a lot of people, I know) but, its been like this in my whole working life. Ive always worked and paid my way, but never had the chance to 'get ahead', to secure a better future financially. I live payday to payday. Im renting on my own, which is so expensive when you are single - this is why I have no savings.

Anyway, enough of that - I am looking forward to really making the most of this site and learning from other people too. I hope that I can also help a bit. I think sharing ideas and tips in this way, is so much better. Nothing beats personal experience!!

Im hoping that I am able to place blogs on here (ive tried to get started but im not sure if its activated for my account?) I would especially love to hear from anyone, who can relate to my situation and are going through this themselves.

Anyway, thanks ahead to anyone whom replies to my questions in the future or comments on my blogs.

that's a really open and honest introduction and hopefully already a valuable contribution in that many people are in the same boat or at least, started out that way. So you're not alone, I can vouch for that.

Welcome to the site, I've not been on here long but when you compare most of the posts to some of the other business forums you'll find that the contributions here are much more positive and friendly.

I have a young company myself so can relate to how you feel. Good luck and no doubt we'll learn together.

Welcome to the party.

You say you are working on a shoestring but you say you have "drive and determination, as well as persistance and patience" - I'd say you are already very rich then!

No point being rich if you don't have the drive and determination..
Those that became rich usually had (and still do) the drive and determination to achieve their goals.
