Hello from the BView Community Manager

Hi all,

I'm the community manager over at BView, I spend my time working with the business users on our free directory to help them get the best from their listing and how to promote themselves and their offers to as wider audience as possible.

Before this, I spent a long time running the IT and development operations for an E-commerce company so hope to be able to spread some of my small business IT knowledge with you all (a reasonable amount was learned the hard way).

SSD:
We've only be up and running since April and are still working hard to improve the site. Our core directory is pretty solid, and we're just working on adding features around the edges to make it a compelling system for end users and businesses.

Tough to do when you want to keep it all free.

Wecando.biz:
We're doing ok. Our directory is much broader than Qype's (we've got over 2 million businesses listed) and we're still evolving our model at the moment.

We've done our best to make the directory as open as possible, anyone can add their business and our community of users is helping us out already by updating any out of date info.
