pdf brochure - comparison quotes please

Hi all - I need some help today.

I've just received a quote for a a pdf brochure to go on a website I'm involved with and as its not something I've done before I've nothing to compare the price to.

Specifics are:
to design one 20 page (approx) A4 brochure suitable for pdf download
All text & images to be supplied by client

Anyone want to suggest a rough price for the above spec? or is more info required?

I'll let you all know the price I've been quoted when I have other people's ideas...cos I know you're all interested

which ever you prefer - I don't really mind. I just need an indication of whether the price I have is realistic/reasonable etc.

I think to avoid external guests seeing this as a bidding war, which ,might attract spammers, perhaps PMing might be suitable. Just a thought.
