    Default Advice required

The project I am working on requires a lot of letter writing and a standard format to come from the various people involved.

Professional email is obviously important. A design has been prepared and I wondered if anyone would mind giving feedback on it.

PS. It is a design for HTML, not a website page, but an email for normal correspondence.

I post the link instead of the image.

Any views on this approach for 'marketing' are welcome...

why, when you give your own top ten tips on this very subject, do you require our advice? It's a bit conflicting don't you think? Only qualified experts are permitted to add contributions yet here you are asking for feedback. Experts do not require their work to be reviewed.

    Hi Indi,

first of I'm no expert. Second, I didn't design it. Third, smallBiz if often in isolation. Normally I wouldn't get an open review for a customer thing. It is usually for the customer to review. This is not for a customer. And lastly, I very rarely do letter writing of this nature. And am going to use it myself to write to others. That's why I have not designed it, that's why I ask for 'marketing' advice of this kind.

    Input very welcome. Simplez.

This is what the forum is for 'help'. So please, feel free to help.
PS - I thought someone may pick that-up. Well done.

I dont think anyone can claim to be an expert in everything, and especially not disregard the expertise of others. Isnt this forum about sharing that expertise and learning it from others?

I have bolded what i think to be a ridiculous comment. Of course they do, thats the only way to stay an expert.

I think this is the quickest way to drive people away from A1!

I may have produced tons of these over the years for paying customers, but I am no expert. I always say that the customer is. Advice comes from years of experience of producing. Hence, no expert. Certainly not in their use. Certainly not in any aspect. Lots of experience in 'what should be included' and the like. This is alll about ethos.

So I leave it with somebody who has a little more experience in using them.

Perhaps somebody, wishes to offer their views.

Moreover, letters are going as part of a follow-up to telephone conversations. Institues / Trade Bodies / Directors / Owner Managers / etc. Some will be sent direct, where we are told to email

    Best Wishes.

Have completely edited my post for the second time.

    Ambigous statement. "Am I what?"

Moving on (3rd edit): Any advice welcome.

Mike, I wont drag this one out, but it ties to the stuff he has covered in other threads about top 10 tips by experts in their field, one being his own, I was just confused by this that's all. If what you write raises questions surely it's not a problem to explain them if they get queried?

Okay, well I'll give it to you... in another way.

Guy that does Radio speaking and PR has provisionally agreed to do a feature for us on PR for SmallBiz. I am writing to him in a moment. I am going to implement the template now and get the letter off. Just finished on the phone with him. A founder of FriendOfEarth. My Twitter a/c has all the details.

I would really have liked someone to just answer my request. It is a small biz project. Insightful information will come out of it.

I will let you know whether the stationery helps or not.

    Wish me well.
