Online advertising
Bless her cotton socks, to help me out my Mum has placed a couple of online ads to try to get members for my site. She didn't tell me about them so I had no input as to where they were placed and have never advertised online before.
What are your thoughts about such ads? http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/whats-on-newcastle/ http://www.journallive.co.uk/newcastle-sports/ This is in sports because my membership is now 80% female and we want to attract some men to the site.

Another question. My mum received stats on the number of unique clicks they get a day but is there any way to check this? They seem a little extreme.
