I am writing a press release warning of the dangers to pets in the summer, and looking for a catchy title. I think I have writers block at the moment, since all I have come up with so far is 'Summertime hazards for pets'. In my opinion, pretty mundane, and does little to catch the attention.
Piece is essentially outlining fleas, ticks in summer, danger of hot cars and leaving dogs in conservatory's etc. etc.
Why not something a little bit controversial such as "Can Cats get hayfever too?" or "200 dogs a year suffer from heatstroke". As I haven't seen your press release, these titles may be a little off the mark, but if you capture some point that you've made in your release and emphasise this with statistics, that can often make a good title.
