But the one I used, I'm not sure if there was something wrong with it as it kept missing envelopes/letters then not sticking them properly, pretty pointless really
I thought they were actually ads for such as bettrware and kleeneze, MLM type of work, yoiu know, wher oyu work 10 hours and earn £5k a month

If you are doing it only now and again and have a couple of hundered or so you might as well do it yourself. I can acheive a good speed once I get into it!
I think there are services out there that offer to design print and take care of stuffing and posting etc. Good opportunity there I think.
I am talking letters, flyers, postcards etc... all in one go. No quantity is a problem.
This is a totally hassle free and time saving process we can make more use of. Getting the message across in the right way is proving difficult.

I'm surprised it's not something you've come across before in design & marketing.
I expect there are plenty of businesses out there that will do this direct mail... just get some quotes, get a feel for pricing and how they present it. I always used to see cost per thousand type pricing, addressing printed on envelope, stickers, or window-faced, normal envelopes or secure (pattern inside), postage inclusive and so on.
To me, it's nothing new so I can't see how it can be 'marketed' as time saving or anything innovative. Just a part of a direct mail advertising/marketing campaign. I'm more surprised it wasn't included or considered for a client and they were given the job themselves!
It's mail fulfillment. Better to have it as a printer than not to. Alot of competition out there for mail fulfillment.

One of our printing partners have just invested in a machine that will fold, envelope stuff, stick and frank - entire process on one and can handle multiple amounts of literature.
