Hi all
I would like to ask for advice on marketing in the north west of england for the kind of biz I have
What ould say is the best way to market it in this area ?
you wanting to advertise across the whole of the northwest?
If you can afford it - TV advertising?
Else Radio and newspaper?
Liverpool Echo and Radio City to advertise for Liverpool
The site does not read too well and doesn't explain what benefits you can bring to both parties (the WIIFM factor is lacking)
The Use Of Caps On All Words Makes It Hard To Read - I Am Not Sure What Purpose This Serves ?
You need to start by selling yourself - shout about the product or service (but don't use caps), centre the page, use emotional images (spending a few £ on royalty free images will make a huge difference to your site)
Obtaining emails and contact details can be done a little more cleverly than using the current methods - there is no call to action and the site does not evoke trust enough to divulge the information.
I realise this review may seem harsh but until you sell yourself on the site then it's not worth considering the methods of getting the details out to the wider audience.

Rob I'm assuming you've bought into this as a business template to start selling a product via affiliate selling...
The copy does need an awful lot of work and to me it seems like one of these dodgy 'get rich quick' schemes. Simple logic tells you that if it was the easy solution to 'making all the money you will ever need' then the creator would use his own system to become extremely wealthy and keep the idea to himself.
There's plenty of ways to market your site in a geographical area (geo-targeted PPC campaigns from Adwords, flyers, direct mail, posters, telemarketing, radio, TV, local PR etc). However most of these will cost money and from what I've seen your site is likely to provoke a very low response rate. I'd think long and hard about your business model before you risk your own finances on it.
networking is always a great way of getting the companies name out there.
there are also alot of free ones (but the ones were people tend to pay for usually brings better companies.
i hated them at first but you get used to them, then you get to know the people and start enjoying them.
my only advice in networking is dont sell to people! tell people what you do but dont try to push for business, think of these people as guys who will pass on your details to others rather than someone who might buy off you. people cant stand people who as soon as they meet someone start pitching to them.
and make sure you go more than once! people only remember you and what you do after meeting you a few times, and trust isn't built until then either and people aren't going to pass details to their friends or colleagues if they dont trust the person to do a good job.
