Default Looking for advertisers, where to find them?

Hi Everyone.

My partner and I are doing The Great British Craft Tour, some of you may have read our press release on this site: FREE publicity for artists & crafters - The Great British Craft Tour

We are looking for advertisers, sponsors and supporters of the tour, but we don't really know where to start!

The kind of people we will have coming to the site will include crafters / small business owners and consumers of craft goods.

Has anyone here got experience in selling advertising that might be able to give us some advice?

We have got a LOT of publicity lined up for this, and it would be a shame for us not to sell the adverts as there is a genuine opportunity for advertisers here!

Can anyone help me?

Have you had a look on Etsy, I know there is a UK Etsy Blog trying to gain exposure for UK crafters they may point you in the right direction, also the UK craft council. Do you have advertising info posted on your site at all, how do you plan to advertise?? Space on your blog, on your vehicle

I would more than certainly like to help support the tour

Hi Fee, thanks for the links, we have certainly been contacting guilds but there's a few in there we've missed!

We've now got interest from BBC Oxford and ITV Anglia and Thames Valley, as well as BBC breakfast for future exposure (once the tour starts) and we are contacting all the local stations along our route too!

Advertising info can be found here: http://thegreatbritishcrafttour.co.uk/advertising/

victoriaK - I'm PM'ing you!
