Is Customer Street any good?

Although ot irks me to say it, their backroom staff seem very good and
they do some good work.

It's just a shame their sales team isn't as good, are very pushy and
promise things they may not be able to deliver.

Also, if you do sign up with them, read the contract very carefully and
watch out for auto renewalls.

they seem to always be advertising for staff, and seem to have nice offices in lancaster, but i haven't heard anything good about them, and every now and again they try to sell it to us, but we have no use for it

The question that was being asked here, is are they any good? And I mean the advertising. Being a person of detail, I read T & Cs and know my rights as a consumer and as a business trader, so if im clear before I sign up that is not my worry - and I would share this with the client who was looking to buy into it.

I have yet to hear, apart form negative responses about their trading ethics, whether listing on their website brings traffic. And that is really all I want to know.

Apart from all the stories I have read I know a member who has had bad dealings with them. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole! I'll PM the member for you.

That is why I gave you that contact. They should be able to provide you with what they needed, what they got, and was it worth it - traffic and conversions.

Indi, not a direct answer... but here's my common-sense test. If you don't find their existing advertisers in Google search results for the categories & locations they're listed in, then what are those advertisers getting for their money? What would you get?

Thanks very much, I suppose that puts things into perspective.

I did the test and I did see a FreeIndex one page 1 though! And they weren'tt listed on their page 1 either.

I did notice our very own member Dot Design at No. 3 in the local list though!
