    Default Marketing Budgets

    Some shameless market research!

How much of your marketing budget do you allocate to promotional gifts / clothing, graphic design, printing (brochures etc..) and PR? Where does the rest of it go?

    Thanks

That may be so but if when you've finished with your job you left an airfreshener or something similar in their car then someone who gets in their car may ask about it or see it, it would also make your customer feel like you had given them something and they were valued - your name would also be right in their face all the time making it more likely for it to be on the tip of their tongue when talking about what you do - thats what promotional merchandise is for, not just getting whatever is cheap and giving it out to whoever

OK Sarah, as you had the downright audacity to publicly promote here I will happily (because I am a man) fall for it.

I need a quote for good quality blue in colour Polo shirts with 3 logo's embroidered on them (2 on the front and one on the arm)

I am also after a nice looking but reasonably cheap award plaque I can give away to primary school children with my company logo on

I know Sarah I was kidding but your market research worked.

initially 30 polo shirts and 10 award plaques, I want the polo shirts to be good quality ones and realise it will cost me more for the 3 logo's which I can provide. The awards will be given to primary school children annually and we are gaining more and more schools monthly.

oh and in answer to your question, what marketing budget?

I buy what I want when I need it and it works for me.

If I am direct mailing 1000 people I order in enough for that campaign, if I need clothing or graphic design I buy what I need then and at the quality I want, budgets for me are just down to common sense. I don't go for cheap but I also know when I am being ripped off.
