Obviously Haiti is in trouble but there are always many similar needs in
the world.

I would never request or suggest anyone give money to anybody/anywhere but
if you feel lead to do so here are a couple i have donated to for years.

They both have reputations of actually getting most of your donations to
where its actually needed.

1. Food for the poor.
you can donate directly to haiti from there site.

Food For The Poor is the largest international relief agency in the United
States according to the Chronicle of Philanthropy and had maintained
fundraising and administrative costs of less than 4% of its expenses; more
than 96% of all donations go directly to programs that help the poor.

2. Save the children.

These folks are also very highly rated by charity watch groups.

You cant go wrong with either one.

I agree, not everything is going to the right people. Thats why the yanks sent the troops in.

Nice to see Northern Rock sees fit to send £10 Million of our Taxpayers Money on sponsoring a Football team, kinda puts the value of Human life on backburner.

yeah.i agree.. if you plan to donate, you should be more cautious about the organization..coz they're maybe a fraud..
