I recently posted on here about looking for sponsor forms (thanks to the repliers, it gave me some good ideas to carry on with)

Anyway, Im planning a charity cycle ride later in the year, a nice little trek from Lands End to John O Groats. The current route stands at about 1100miles. Im trying to raise money for two causes, one is local, for a special school not too far from me and the other is for Leukaemia research.

Everything is at a fairly early stage so far, ive got my bike rebuilt and ready and i have started training, I have a domain registered and im currently starting to build a site that will have a blog attached to update progress throughout the planning and also a live blog from my mobile during the ride.

Ok, the help....

I need a logo for the website and also for all the paperwork. My artistic abilities are...well i dont have any!

One of my main aims with the ride is to get some corporate sponsors invoved (if you can help here too that would be great!) As a small business owner, i want to really focus on this and i will be trying for as much publicity as possible for any corporate sponsors, a dedicated web page with details and links of sponsors, corporate details on every sponsor form that goes out, potentially vynl printing on the bike (its quite distinctive) and ride clothing. Also i will be trying to atract local media in all forms to cover the ride.

If someone could help with a logo design, i would be happy to put their company in as a sponsor (atleast on the site and on paperwork, the bike/clothing printing is not confirmed yet)

Also, if anyone wants to get involved as a sponsor, i would be very grateful.

Thanks for all the kind replies, Ive just come back from a training ride, i injured my knee two weeks ago and today it started again so obviously hasnt healed, hopefully its not a recurring injury. Its nice to come back and read these posts as it helps to re-enforce what im doing.

I will start looking through images and things that i have and start getting some logo ideas together, perhaps i could post it on the forum when its done and you can all laugh....er i mean critique it

I will be sure to post the website here as soon as something is working, i'll be after all the exposure i can get.
