Maybe I'm just not getting your project... Here are the things we did to raise money.
Bouncy castle ( we got it free in lieu of advertising)
Ball pool (same as above)
Fancy dress competition ( charging entrant fee - big donated prizes)
Face painting (easy peasy)
Hair braiding (same as above)
***ellry making (need lots of cheap materials)
Cake and coffee stall/cafe (great hit!)
Jumble sale (huge success, but lots of organising)
Treasure chest dig (wicked success)
Play station games (boys loved it)
Any good ?
There's some great ideas here and they always seem to work at our school fundraisers ... perhaps pick 2 or 3 ?! Tombola is always a money spinner! Good Luck.

like some charitites use at xmas time to remember loved ones...only use one of those artificial tree's used in conservatories ....i'd beg one to borrow from local company and put their details on the thank you flyer..you could get ppl to add their names to a gold star, as supporters or as stars...or nominate someone else.. give them a thank you flyer with your details on........
or - if you are expecting a lot of children to the stall....a diff idea.......a lollipop tree.......hang the lollipops on the tree with ribbon and let the kids "pick a lolly off the tree for a fee...(sugar free tho obviously)i did this on a real tree in our garden for my daughters birthday party,, they loved it...
a name the teddy always is popular with me.. i just have to have at least 10 goes !! and its never called henry !!!
how about a parentsforplay quiz..........£1 to enter...print a quiz on A4 with all your details on.......you need their details for winners notification..
they could hand them in or post them to you.....have a rip off part for them to keep in case they win, again with your details on........
how about making and selling laminated bookmarkers (its really easy and cheap) ..again with your details on the back...
or get ppl to stop and sign a petition as supporters of your cause.....obviously have them record their details ......and tick to say you can contact them.. will help build up your database...
buy in a load of dry wipe a4 boards & pens and add your sticker details on the bottom...add a strip of magnetic tape to the back.....a fridge reminder...( i can tell you where to get them cheap if you are interested)
ask local relevant business if they want you to hand out their flyers along with yours and charge them for it.......
its late and i cant think of anything else right now, but it may have given you something to think about.......good luck you have a great cause......

Thanks for all the ideas. Going to have to have good think. I want to do something major.
I have already booked a climbing wall and five inflatables so can't book anymore. I should have thought about this earlier then I could booked one (espeically as I am actually the one in charge of booking the rides and attractions!)

Well, why not send as many Christmas ecards as you like for only £5.99, save a fortune, put your company name on the message and be green at the same time
When I was young, and that's going back a bit, they always had them at our local village fetes and fairs.
Usually consisted of a big barrel full of shredded paper with gifts wrapped in blue for boys and pink for girls (probably not PC now!)
The excitement was not necessarily the contents of the package but being able to search in the barrel for your own gift.
I remember it was always popular but maybe it's a bit old fashioned now, anyway just an idea.
Good luck I am sure whatever you decide will be great
That's what we did, in the form of a Treasure Chest - it was Fab. Went to that horrible place called Macdonalds, well actually they were really kind but their food is c**p, they gave us all the left over toys from the kiddie's meal boxes

I am still after any big ideas if anyone has any. The skys the limit as it's not really a fete or anything but a huge carnival (If you type in Oldham carnival on utube you can see the vids of it from the last two years). The stage for example is costing £8,000!
