World Autism Day
Following on from my 'whats your current read' thread and the subsequant topics covered particulary by our very own fuzzy
I then heard a story through half open eyes on the television on a topic that is close to fuzzies heart It's World Autism Day on 2nd April 2008, designated by the United Nations in New York. Support the call of the Autism Awareness Campaign UK for a national strategy on autism and a 10 year plan of action on autism and Asperger's Syndrome by writing to Prime Minister Gordon Brown at 10 Downing Street, London SW1A 2AA asking him to implement these proposals in order to help all 500,000 people with autism in the United Kingdom Apologies for the lateness of this thread....only just remembered about it

Fuzzy,
I got the distinct impression it was something you are passionate about and would welcome reading stuff on this topic from you Was also an interview on GMTV this morning with a couple with an autistic child and how it effects him and them.....It had me engrossed as to how they explained things sometimes with pictures of what lay in store for the day to help him get through the day with minimal stress
