Does anyone have any suggestions for what I could try and get hold of for our carnival instead of trucks. We try to encourage people to walk the parade route but we still had about 17 floats last year (that looked great!) but the truck company that supplied us has pulled out (I seem to be using those words a lot lately)
So we are trying to think of alternatives. I was thinking about horses pulling trailers or something but I can picture the horses getting scared and 'carnival carnage' headlines appearing in the papers.
We had large articulated lorrys last year that really were too big. Trouble is the parade is on the Saturday and most truck companies work Saturdays.
The route is 2 miles long. Anyone got any thoughts
a wheelbarrow section....i could think of loads of ways to dress up a wheelbarrow........
eg......rays entry.......man dressed up as a monkey pushing it......loads of foliage in the barrow, with ray sitting in it......baring his chest.......with a crown on........"KING OF THE JUNGLE".......
