A message to the good people of A1

You are no doubt aware that Andy is undertaking a massive event and cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End and all for Charity

I have agreed to provide 1000 Business size cards that are going to have various details including the logo designed FREE by Col at Pixels Ink along with other details such as he website where you can pledge some money to support this epic undertaking.

I have also agreed with Andy to print onto the rear of the card at cost price and will happily print the website and a strapline of 4 further companies under a heading such as "The following have kindly supported this charitable event"

ALL that is asked is the 4 companies are willing to cover the costs of producing this

the costs involved are 5p per colour and we intend to use 2 colours - 1 for the website address and another for the strapline

That makes a total of £100 to be divided between 4 companies to effectively get 1000 adverts on the streets - £25 each

You can of course opt to donate more and initially we were looking for a donation of £50 each which would have covered the printing and a small donation into the bucket to start Andy off

Uptake thus far has not been as we would have expected...we appreciate that many people tend to support their own charities.....I have to say I am included in that with my work with Wish Upon A Star

That said, I am in awe of Andy and what he is doing for the nominated charities...I certainly would not be able to undertake such a massive task and it is for this reason alone that I wish to support him in his endeavours

Dig deep people...after all, I believe you can offset some if not all of any donation to charity against your tax!

Thanks very much for bumping this again.

Just to let you know, this raffle idea that you are printing the cards for, ive just had confirmation of the first donated prize. Silverstone have donated a couple of tickets to the british touring car race.

Im on the case to get a couple of other local sports related prizes too.

so its looking all good so far!

(well apart from me having a physio appoinment on Fri to look at my knee, did 45mile training ride on sat with full luggage and ended up having to walk the last 6 miles pushing my bike as i think ive damaged a ligament. fingers crossed for me that its something minor!)

I'll give you a shout nearer the time. Half of all the money raised will be going to a school where most of the children are on the autistic spectrum. (think i already spoke to you about that didnt I?)
