With the launch of the Social Enterprise Strategy in 2006, the third sector has emerged as an important force in the development of a robust economy, and, more importantly, a fulfilled society.
To be effective in delivering their charters, social enterprises and charity organisations need to combine a strong social purpose with entrepreneurial drive and access to modern strategic and management skills is essential to this process.
