I found that last year Pet Nanny and signed it then, I also complained to the gallery and the ministry. Did you read his pathetic excuses - the dog would die anyway so we just observed it in the name of art to bring awareness to the problem of street dogs.

Just shoot the artist and make the world a better place, pass me a gun I'll do it quite happily.

Sadly it only came to my attention yesterday, and I am doing everything in my power to pugh the petition.

Thanks to you all for your support, and please send to everyone you know.

I forgot to say that I actually contacted the People newspaper today, and I am hoping that they will cover this story in their Sunday people and animals section.

Have you heard that he has finally been arrested and charged with cruelty

    I got this through today:

Word from Toronto to say the guy has been arrested & charged with cruelty - he has also been banned from using live animals.

Apparently there's something about it on "Facebook" - but it was on the news over there.

See what public pressure can do, nothing was done for months after he did it but get enough complaints and action will be taken against these awful people.

Now if we can get the same result for the Amersham horses case.

Although very good news it will still probably be just a slap on the wrist. The gallery in the states that wanted to "commision" him SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

I have no words to describe such cruelty...I feel so ashamed to be a member of mankind.

This petition is being pushed strongly on another forum I belong to aswell, so hopefully there is strength in numbers. I've added my signature btw.

Just read your post Sally, Brillient news. It has taken long enough though. Also, what about the bar stewards that paid to see the poor dog, what happens to those

Totally agree, I can barely even bring myself to read your post!! It is so disgusting and to think people would pay to watch that is just so hard to believe! I agree they should all be punished!!

I am getting a bit worried that I am not seeing anything on the net yet about the charges. Apparently it was on the tv news over in Toronto but I thought it would be all over the net by now :sad1:
