Default Never used adwords - worth a try?

    Hi

I got a voucher code through for £75 worth of adwords - I've set up the account (using google directly rather then their link - I'm a cynical so and so!) and all seems fine. I just need to add my £10 set up thingy then I'm away.

Is it worth trying? I come nowhere at the minute on google (playing with SEO at the mo), but looking at some of the search terms the PPC cost should be fairly small - some of them only have one ad on them...

Any advice greatly received as I'm a complete numptie on this one!

    Just remember....

60% of peeps will not use the sponsored links
Research, relevance and targetted and you will be fine...
Couple this with your effective SEO program and tilt it overtime from 100% PPS Vs 0% Organic.
Aim to tilt it 80% the other way within x months

    But 40% do

I'd love to know where that statistic is quoted please. I'm always on the look out for good data.

I completely agree with you about using other forms of marketing as well. The most dangerous number in business is 1 (Not my quote. It came from Chris Cardell).

    Hi Sara

I would give adwords a go, but I would spend some time educating yourself as much as possible first.
