I have had 132 visits from Google for "pet supplies" but when I try a rank check on that term I am not listed (according to Rank Checker for FF) in google. So where are they coming from?? Did a check on both .com & .co.uk
I had this exact same issue. We used to get around 30+ hits a day from a few very competitive terms which I could never see us anywere for.
Not sure if it's a coincidence but one day our Google Base feed expired and on that day our visits from these keywords stopped dead. I uploaded a new Base feed immediately but they never returned.
I've just been speaking to our account manager at Google. I've asked them to look into where we were getting these hits from so I'll let you know if we hear anything back.
