Default What time does AdWords day start?

Is an Adwords day the same as an AdSense day?
i.e. 08:00 to 08:00 UK time.

You can set your own start and finish times, and im sure you also select your time zone as well.

Yup, thats correct.

Also the reports you run in Adwords are based on the time zone you set up (You won't find that in the help files - I had to ask a couple of years ago and then test because I didn't quite beleive the answer!). Then again, maybe they have updated the help files

Any idea if you can do the same with AdSense?
My AdSense has always run 8 hours behind and I've never found out if it
can be adjusted. I want my AdWords to run on the time zone as my
Adsense, is the only option to set that 8 hours behind too?

Doesn't look like it

You can't.
Also, you can only change AdWords time zones once.

An adwords time related question :
We have an adwords campaign running for the US only, but our time zone is set to GMT (because we are UK based but with a US office). The campaign is only mean't to be running during business hours, should the times be adjusted for US or does it know that those selected times are for US because the campaign is limited to the US?
Thanks
