Default Adwords "feature" that is costing you money

Hi all,

I just did some work for a client recently and I noticed that they had fallen foul of Adwords broad search "feature" for two word matches.

Rather than paste my recent blog post here and create duplicate content, here's the link.

Two word Broad Match Trap

Ta

I noticed this to today and steered clear, it looks so helpful, let us take the work out of it for you. If it wasn't for reading your site and info Mike I probably would have fallen for it myself. They offered me keywords like childrens wear, baby clothing, designer childrens wear, which I haven't a hope in hell competing for yet.

I think google are negligent for making broad the normal match - they should make it exact until you open it up.

If you use broad match at all I recommend everyone use a tool like seo digger or keyword external , you will be gobsmacked at what can come out of broad match and actively negative match all of the crap that doesnt fit.

Or just dont use it at all!!...
