The best £10 I ever spent on adwords !

Having read through plenty of posts on here regarding adwords etc I have decided to put my own thoughts on it !

I bought a book.

But not just any book, I bought Perry Marshalls 'Ultimate adwords' cost me about £10 from amazon.

If you are really going to setup an account with adwords to drive sales then you really do need to know the basics.

Although this book will not give you a hand holding guide for your specific business, it will help you get things up and running and give you plenty of advise on how to get the best results.

Avoiding 'stupid tax' to begin with by making sure you don't use content search and only target the country you sell to is a good start !

I just checked this book out on Amazon.

There are a couple of slighlty negative reviews suggesting that the book is very "American" in a approach and the writing style is "juvenile" also "promises a lot and delivers little" . Also noted that this book is at least 2 years old now which may make some of the content out of date perhaps?

There is some really great stuff on some of the older threads on the PPC tboard here for free by the way.
