Smile Registration V Patent for design protection

My postman brought me good good news this morning.....and i wanted to share it with you all..

i have received my registered design approval from the patent office for my new product. This enables me to now disclose information and photos of the said product with the assurance that noone can copy the design....
This route is an real alternative to having a product "patented" which can be a time consuming and costly exercise. But still gives protection against an exact relpica appearing on the market.By Registering a design it covers the "look" of the product as opposed to the "workings" of the product which is something to consider.
Costs for the registration application are £60 and you have the option of delaying the publication of the product in the directory.
