Default Who wants to review my new website

I can't post it here because my website designer has asked me to only get a few people to test it for me this week before the final touches are made.

still some text to go up so please don't comment on pages of greek stuff

pm me for the site details if your willing to look.

First impression on opening the site .... very professional visually.

All the buttons seem to be working fine, have pressed everything and can't seem to break anything, despite trying very hard.

I like all the options, I can use the links on the left the drop downs or even just click the category heading and see everything.

So pleased you have got the 'right answer' for the contact page, I can never read those bloody squiggly things and if I get them wrong I give up.

There is just a couple of small points I am having a problem with:

The links next to the logo are light blue against a blue background so I am having trouble reading them because the text is so small. Even more so with the Microsoft Gold Certified 'something' (can't read it's too small and not a colour that stands out)

Am a little baffled by the thing in the top left corner, that takes me to the other site but that isn't included in the support services section or links in the footer. Is that something you want me to know about and find or not? As a browser I would be unlikely to click it but not sure how the two sites fit together so that may not be an issue.

Overall as a browser it is an excellent site and seems to work well.

General

in the contact section all your fieldsets (sections) have sharp corners where as in FF they are curved, perhaps making them the same for consistancy.

if I am in the contact, delivery page, shopping cart should the home button NOT be highlighted/selected? Because I am not at the home page

In where you have the products, you have 3 in a row and big space to the right is this used for something? If not perhaps spacing them out and centering on the page as I think they are to close together.

There is not enough contrast, I just think it is very blue. Why not change the header colours for: Most Popular Products, New in and the category headers to something a bit brighter:

Below is an example from experts exchange the bright headers help split the section up:

Agree with sally:
The links next to the logo are light blue against a blue background so I am having trouble reading them because the text is so small. Even more so with the Microsoft Gold Certified 'something' (can't read it's too small and not a colour that stands out)

IE 7

In IE when you mouse over the drop down links you have to click the text where as in FF, Opera you can click the whole box.

IE 6

In IE6 youre left side menu has got thick blue lines and not the thin ones as in all the other browsers

The top left image is a png so you will need to use the .png hack for IE6 - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/bobosola/

drop down menus dont work!!

links at the bottom of the page, once clicked/visited they turn pink, this doesn't happen in any other browser.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But going through the site overall it is well laid out, easy to navigate through.

Visually it looks very professional and spot on but like I said above think it could do with a bit more colour.

Good to see you also have the cookie crumbs (cant remember the technical name) at the top, very helpful.

Just wondering would there be a search on the site? Could be useful?
