Great idea for a forum I should imagine there are a few like this , Im not sure about the header though seems to not hold enough information for people but I do like the concept,
yeah I agree with my mate Simon you need a better logo/header.
Also, I wsn't immediately sure what the forum is about without scrolling down. Not keen on the strapline about guides and tutorials because it.s a forum.
I also think there could be a much better name that would serve you much better. New-Talks doesn't say anything to me. It doesn't use the word forum, which is a little unusual for a forum.
Great forum.. Lots of interesting topics..
The design looks clean and okay though I think it will look better if you try to use different color scheme...
Sorry, but it's just a load of made up threads with ads shoved in between the posts and lots of odd, spammy link games going on.
Here's a typical example:
" I need a site like jewelrymall.com, except instead of being about jewelry it will be about a topic related to design and furniture (specific topic will be given out when project awarded to you). As you... (Budget: $300-1500, Jobs: Copywriting, Market Research, Project Management, Proofreading, SEO)."

Another:
"I'd like to have a script that will allow to submit links related to a certain topic. The information that is submitted is Headline, URL, Description, Short Description. There will also be a password required to submit these links. The output will consist of a listing of the links by ordered added. It will display the Headline that will link to the URL (in a new window), the description on the next line, the date/time added and the number of views it's had."

And another:
" Hi I am looking to start a new rental & sales website. It should allow people and estate agents to post their property for sale or for rent. The website will will initially cater for UK & European market but should have flexibility to work with any international country. So flexibility is important. Below are the things the the website should have 1. The website should have a registration & login area where the users register and then login to maintain their property listings 2."

Another:
" We need someone who can quickly troubleshoot a problem that we are having in linking to two websites from a portal page. It is probably a 5 minute job for someone knowledgeable in html. Please therefore bid accordingly... (Budget: $30-100, Jobs: Website Design)"

And so on.
Pretty much the whole of the site is Google bait to generate revenue on ads.
If you look at the range of forums then there are lots of contributers and not simply as you describe it, id suggest looking further before making such claims
I had a look and in all the ones I clicked, every entry was by admin with no replies and loads of views, more on some than others. I got fed up of clicking and seeing the same entries by admin tbh and left.
If you are looking in the tutorial section this is true - but looking at the other sections there are discussions etc as a normal forum, certainly not Blackhat SEO as claimed above.
Saying all that I think the logo is very weak and needs work
Looking through the forums there does appear to be a lot of threads started by admin with zero replies. However, as we all well know, starting a forum from scratch is hard and it could be that the admin is simply creating content to encourage users to visit.
There's nothing wrong as such with creating dummy threads as long as the content itself is concise, relevant and readworthy.
