The gardening advert would send me packing for starters. You dont want to be putting irrelevant ads on a site. If any you use any ads, they need to be very relevant as a minimum.
When I click on Employers from the nav bar I get a black blank page.
With all the job sites out there, yours will have to be 'up there' to compete.
I cant easily see where your contact details are. On the Contact Us page there is just a contact form and no contact details such as business adress, phone number, etc.
Hi Mike - I always say this, but 'free' isn't free. It costs employers time and data to sign up and post their jobs. The only benefit an employer wants is quality applicants answering his/her ad but if your site's new and there aren't many job hunters yet, then you can't offer that benefit.
The real challenge of this kind of project is to work out what benefits you can offer participants to help you build the site and attract traffic - from scratch. And I think it's vital to recognise that those benefits are not the same as the ones you can offer when you're getting x thousand hits a week in the future.
I think you need to sort the text alignment out a little, if you look at the admin job and scroll down to this bit you will see what I mean:
Zone
Swindon Town Centre, Cheney Manor, Rodbourne, Kingshill/Westcott, Old Town
There is also nothing on the home page to say how it all works, do I have to pay a referral fee, do I contact employers directly, etc. Yes I can find that elsewhere in places but would be worried about using the site because I can't see in one place how it works.

Thanks Sally - appreciate it alot.
Do you mean from an employers pov or jobseeker?
This is one of the "dilemas" i have - how do I align the homepage? atm its aimed at Jobseekers
I think from both points of view really, everyone is nervous about internet scams so I would add a How it Works page and set out that it is free, you don't collect any personal details and that you get your revenue from adverts. Once people feel confident it is not a scam they will be happy to use it.
How are you going to get people? The chicken and egg is a real problem I suffer from but for you I would think visiting employment agencies and letting them know how you are getting people to use the site would encourage them to place job ads. For people looking for work swap it round and go to job clubs, job seekers office (or whatever the dole is called these days) and colleges and let people know that you have X many recruitment agencies on board.
If you can't add a page then add it to the About Us page (that's where I looked) and then put a big button on the home page saying how the site works and link that to the info.
