I like the style of the site but think the text needs to be a different colour as it seems to be very light and hard to read also dont start a sentence with "At" replace that with Eriskay Assocaites Helps ect ect

Also I would have your testimonials n the front page as I had to go looking for them in other sections, mabye a nice site map would help also,

Hope that helps

Depending where you are font sizes are different.
No link to 'home', your logo should take care of that.
Generally it's ok, a bit wordy plus there's no real CTA.
What relevance has the building in your header and is it your photo or purchased?

First appearance is nice and clean although I'm not blown away the colour choices.

Good clean font choice and the size is fine

Make the logo a link back to the home page as this is expected behaviour

The link for the about us goes to the home page, surely this should go to about your company? Don't use the same text on both pages or you will get duplicate content penalties.

No site map that I could see and considering the amount of content you have, which is great by the way, you should really have one in place for users and SEs

Title bar text should reflect the page you are on and loaded with keywords rather than just the company name throughout.

Nice well structured semantic code which is a big plus.

Overall I really like the site and it looks like you have spent a lot of time on the content.

Mark,

I think the landing page lacks impact. I'd use the homepage to much better effect and leave people in no doubt what you are about - don't make them think!

I'm also a little surprised it's designed for an 800px screen. 1024x768 is now accepted as the lowest common denominator.

From an SEO point of view is missing the mark. I'd suggest working through this check list.

Hope this helps.

From a copywriting point of view...

It is far too much about you ( the "we" and "eriksay" words) and not enough about benefits for customers...or proof of real improvements made in client businesses.

In addition - Many small business owners have a perception/prejudice of "Business school"consultants as people who charge a fortune for academic stuff of little practical or immediate value...I think you need to do more on the site to prove that you are about real workable improvements. Not text books

The biggest issue is - You should do more to try to capture the email addresses of people who come..eg by "selling" the benefits of some aspect of your audit

eg "Can you squeeze more out of your cashflow?"
Download our 50 point checklist for making every business penny stretch 20% further!

In essence what I am saying is , both your audit and survey are ASKING for something - commercially sensitive information. You need to start out by GIVING something free,

When you have the email address you can begin building relationships

The single biggest thing you can do is make a massive promise....on your services eg
return on investment 300% - either our ideas make you 300% of whatyou pay orr every penny back.... and by the way...we have never ONCE had to pay the money back!!

Thanks - this is great feedback and I think the point about asking and not giving back is critical. We in fact post back a 3 or 4 page review based on the information and tend to find it's a good way to get engagement. However, I think we need to be more explicit about this. I also agree about the data capture issue - It would be good to build a closer relationship with our potential customers. Thanks again, M.

To begin with you have to prove the information you give with no strings is worthwhile.....people are unlikely to want to give you commercially sensitive stuff , unless they are sure there are benefits for doing so.

There is an immediate sales resistance and a perception you will hassle them.

Internet marketing is all about small steps.

If you want a great conversion then, use a multimedia page video request for the sign up , so you become real!!
