ok well if im thinking it, others will too. I would remove the Carcroft addresses as that is sure to be an accountant or whatever! (I dont have time to check right now).
Another place you can get details of start ups is by buying the Thomson Local datat lst. Each month they provide you the list of contact details of all those who have signed up to the TL directory and they tick the box for start up, which is generally under 1 or 2 years old. I think its about £500 a year but you also get every othr monthly entry too so exisitng business entries as well.
good idea. I like the site ... phone numbers would be good.
Thank you for your feedback, freelancer. We haven't chosen a licensee to the CTPS (Corporate Telephone Preference Service) yet, but expect to see telephone numbers for the companies later in the year.
I signed up to test your monthly summary but am still waiting for the email back... (seems slow but might not have to do with your end).
I'm curious too - about your company name. Why Michrome? Considering there's already a well-established Uk co. - Michrome Electro Plating Ltd. which lives at www.michrome.co.uk?
The only thing you can logically offer (ref. Phil's point above) that web designers can't get by Googling or searching Companies House themselves is 'ready made' data in spreadsheet form.
Be interested to know from any other 'data brokers' here what the law says ref. reselling data and Data Protection.
Personally, I quite liked the clean front end ;-)
Still no email 20 minutes later which doesn't do much for my confidence.
