Gosh I certainly wasn't expecting black for a wedding theme!! Erm, it's er, black!!
There is nothing to really inspire me to celebrate a big day or invoke images of fluffy dresses, flowers and love. Sorry but black would put me off straight away.

Agree with Sally, if you want mainstream buyers, it's wrong brand for that market.
However, wbhy dont you niche it to Civil Partnerships for Gay People and so on. This then would be edgy and different, as typically, the grooms wont be wearing white meringue dresses and holding pink carnations!
Just an idea.

It is very 'masculine' and although it might be in keeping with your branding, the majority of people buying wedding-related goods and services are women.
IMHO you have concentrated on the easy bit - the look and feel. I would have cracked on creating content and left the standard design in place. Once you had a head of steam content wise - and Google was indexing it - you could have slapped a new design on top. Blogs are, first and foremost, about content.
The blog has a nice layout and design. However, just like other members have been said, it will really look better and more related to your theme if you use a different color background...
