Hi guys, I'm fixing things on my site at the moment so while I'm in the mode. I'd love some feedback as to whats good - what need attention. I'm fixing my images as they are rubbish will be all like the items on hangers (if you think it looks rubbish then let me know). I need to sort out my Custom Orders Page and I'm having a copywriter rework my homepage message.

You know...

all of the pages below the home page are so much better...

they show lovelyt emotive pictures of kidz wearing clothes ,

where the homepage is a complete disconnect for me, in showing bubbles and things above the first fold - not kids enjoying clothes.

imagine if it contained a selection of photos such as the "design your own tutu" - each picture indicating a different aspect of what you are about, and preceded by some proper USP copy, ...which makes people read on...

you have a sign up which is good, but you need to work a lot harder with the benefit message to get people to do it


i think before you begin a home page rework, you should start off with a traffic strategy, to decide which if any of these pages are to be optimised for what expressions.

the page titles , dont seem to be keyword focussed...

Absolutely agree, I put the first image on the home page up while i was working on my images and I will sort that asap.

I have been reading up on keywords and SEO all weekend and next week i am working on that, there is a lot to do on the site so thanks for you comments they are a real help

As above. Homepage lacks impact. Perhaps some special offers, things to grab me when I land etc?

Woha I was expecting to see cubs clothes.Think you might be advised to chose a different name,or you are going to have a lot of disapointed wastefull visitors.

Is Cubs a brand name like Adams, Ladybird etc?

and oddly enough I thought it was clothes for toddler kids not cub scouts, however, I know realise the point Alvin has made, which is people landing on your site who have been searching for cub scout clothing. Be very carfeful with that name and PPC!

I thought the same as Indi as in kids clothes. I'm a little confused though as to whether you stock boys clothes too? All that pink and leopard print is very feminine!
