Thanks v much Greg. The only reason I have the opening page is so I can do some SEO work and so people can go to butterflysundae.co.uk not the shop address. Couldn't see another way round it

Hi Sarah

That's a good looking site. I don't think the small text is too bad, as there is not too much of it. On the FAQ page, the text is bigger.

On each product page, I would move the 'Add to cart' button to a more prominent place, perhaps right next to the image of the card.

On the home page, have a tag line that says 'Our most popular cards...'

On the PayPal payment page, the yahoo.co.uk email address is a bit offputting.

You could always include a small introduction paragraph at the top of the shop to include some keywords, then at the end of the paragraph have ... to read more about us click here, which would then link to the about page.

I just know from experience that having a landing/splash page like that you will lose visitors as you're putting another click in the way of reaching the products/shop.

Hi Peter, Thankyou for the advice. I am not sure at all how to move things around, though I was thinking exactly the same thing as the add to cart button not being in the best position, i will try and find out!

Sorry Sarah I hadn't noticed the URL I thought the site was hosted at the butterflysundae URL. Not heard of bigcartel before so not sure on the limitations of that system tbh.

Beautiful site and beautiful cards. Really lovely, well done Sarah.

Agree with the font comments - I found your intro quite hard to read - and I'd probably suggest that on your homepage and 'personalised' page where you have personalised cards, that the images reflect this with personalised text on the main image (e.g. Happy 6th Birthday Pete for your Pirate birthday card on the homepage). I know these options are shown when you click for more images but I think it would be better to have them on there straight away. Children's birthday cards are ten a penny in Clintons et al with many beautiful illustrations, images and colours to choose from, but the option of being able to buy a personalised card for pretty much the same amount would make yours stand out in an otherwise crowded market.

Other than that, I think your site and cards are beautiful. I adore the name too - suits your designs perfectly.
