One thing - I would think about re-recording the audio file with the microphone a bit further away from your mouth, sounds like it was a bit too close.

Thanks Gregg. I am already working on this as I used a £6 Tesco Value Microphone headset

I recently upgraded to a Samson C03U USB condenser mike (as used on The rissington podcast, and Boagworld), with pop filters and stands and such so this should improve the quality when I re-record it.

Good to hear it Ben... well it will be!
Would be good to have a full blog on there if you can manage the time to update it, just so you can build a story of how the book comes together from the early concepts right through to launch, might help to build a small but focused audience for the launch

My personal opinion is that it needs something behind the middle bit just to make it more readable. It's quite dim at the moment and doesn't look very inviting.

I like the top part of the site, but you could do with having a box around the text (not a square one, but like a roughed edged or sketched box) that has some colour to it to make the site a bit brighter.

What do you think?

I'll look into this mate. Perhaps I could tie in a shade of pink for the "stitching effect" or similar.

No probs, not sure what is it, but the top part of the page looks great but looks like the middle part needs something to bring it to life more.

Hi Ben reducing the amount of text on a page can have an effect on your SE ranking.


The more relevent text on a page the better as a general rule.
