Which version of my website do you prefer?

I’m thinking of giving my website a new look, and I have come up with the following (just the home page for now):

Does it look better than the old one (link in the sig)? Any suggestions on how to improve it would also be gratefully received

If the new look is well received then I will roll it out across the whole site.

New for me too. I like the new layout and the image

I also like your little images on each of the pages like the hardhat for construction and wonder if you could use these a bit better somehow

Couple of little things I noticed...

Testimonials, Tax tips and Glossary all have header fonts bigger than the rest.

And, we are always on your side = Take out the word And.

You will not come across any unmotivated, nine-to-five employees when you deal with us = in my opinion it plants a negative thought that may not have been there maybe change to "we are all very motivated" or something similar

Maybe move the About us, Testimonials and Where to find us to links at the bottom of the page so that the first thing that comes up on your menu bar is the services you provide. You might even move the Links and Glossary there too?

Yep, it's the new one for me too, defo looks better with some images in it. Pages that just contain text are an immediate turn off and I personally run like hell lol!

Yes, I agree, the new version is much better, particularly as the whole page is centralised rather than aligned to the left. I'm not sure about the black text and black border line, it looks too heavy to me. Perhaps you could try the same dark blue used in your logo as I think this would blend in more. Hope that helps.

Possibly both, but I meant the grey.

Edit: Although I admit having just taken another look, aside possibly from a very light blue, I am not sure that many other colours would work better than the grey.
