I love the design. Simple, clean and effective. IMHO I think the white background with the spot colours in the stars etc gives it a very pleasing and calming minimalist feel.
One thing I noticed on the Illustrations page is that you say the following:
"If you would like to commission an illustration for any use - editorial, picture book, a personal piece - simply click here to contact me and we can discuss your needs."
but there is nowhere to click to contact you save clicking on the Contact tab and findiing your email address that way.
Oh thankyou for noticing that Peter I will get on it. Thanks very much for the nice words
I think the same is true of your Design for Kids and Graphic Design tabs in that you say to "contact me". In the same way, I think both could be hyperlinked with a mailto tag.
Since your top menus are just words, from an SEO perspective it would be better if these were text links rather than images. The images do not have any alternative text for them either.
You have a lot of instances where your email address is on view. This is easily extractable by the spam farms and it will result in you getting a lot of spam.

If having your email address harvested is a concern it would be worth creating a contact form and encouraging people to use that or you can mask your email address using various methods. That way, the address can still be usable by Mr & Mrs Public but is not so easily harvested by other means.
Can you please cast your beady eyes over my site for any silly typos I may have missed
Entreprenur should be Entrepreneur
"Miskellaneous is based in the North East of England." - not really sure that's necessary for a design website, would have though it's a location independant business (my logos were designed in Argentina!).
