i did the rates and allowances page in excell but cant get the image into the template without copying over the gridlines - somthing i'm still working on
i've been trying to work on the SEO - still trying to get my head round it all

What software are you using?
You have at least 2 home pages: domain.com and domain.com/default.asp?pg=home - which isn't good for SEO.
Is your site relatively new? It looks like google has only indexed your home page so far. If it is new, then don't expect too much too soon from the search engines.
Title tags look OK.

its a few months old, we're a relatively new firm.
its somthing called a website editor, where you simply type in what you want in plain english in each of the fileds such as; Page description, title, kewords, then the text on the page.
the second home page is the rates and allowances - maybe i should deactivate this page till i can get it to work?
Then I'm surprised that google has only indexed your home page, unless you have only recently added the other pages.

Is this an online service offered by your host or web supplier?

The rates page is actually the third home page (I didn't notice that one) with a url of domain.com/default.asp
The second home page (domain.com/default.asp?pg=home) is what is linked to by all the home button links on your pages and this is different to your first home page (domain.com), the page you get to when you just type in your domain name in the browser's address bar. This is a common problem of a lot of websites and it can cause some serious SEO issues with internal pagerank linkage and duplicate content.

1) why are you suprised? (is that a silly question) i made all the pages at around the same time
2) no thats a package i bought , a DIY website and got the hosting for free included

I'm surprised mainly because I would expect a several page website which was created and submitted to google a few months ago to at least have a few pages indexed by now rather than just the one home page.
I cannot see any reason why your site is preventing this extra indexing, it looks search engine friendly enough, in that search engines should be able to see the links and visit the other pages.
