Design for my new website....
Hi guys...below is the new design for my website. There are still some changes to be made i.e. putting my logo in the top left hand corner but the overall design is here. I'm pretty pleased with it given that it's my first attempt at designing a web page but would love your thoughts on colours and layout etc and don't worry, I won't bite your head off if you criticise it. I want to get it right and hence this post. Thanks again guys- you're the bestest!

Pretty pleasant, with a nice and mellow colour palette.
And no 'same again' stock photography either, which is nice!

Not bad - I"m not a fan of the gradient tabs up top to be honest, but they do fit well.
Did you choose the stock photo based upon the man's good looks? (he looks like me if the answer is yes  :P )I think you need somewhere on the main page for some information text copy

Thanks Khalid, yes you're right, they reckon about 400 words per page so I've read so I might cut the rubbish out of the bottom box and use it to insert the copy. Probably the wrong place to ask as I guess it's more SEO related but does it matter where on the page you put the copy (from both a search engine point of view and the customers point of view)? I'll also post another image of the tabs without the gradient applied and see what others think.

Blimey...that'll take more than 3 hours to splice me old beauty...
IMHO loose the gradient on the tabs, white out the header and move that colour to be a bg colour (page not content), text up a section near the top also... But what do I know... Looking good though Nikki  babe
