I have to agree with Leah, I personally struggle to read white text on dark/black background and do wear contact lenses. I can only read a few sentences and leave knowing I an find another site where I don't get eye strain.

Well its a wierd one, userbility studies don't show any major differences as long as there is adequte contrast between the text & bg.

I guess it personal preference but I don't have problems reading it, to be honest the white site nearly blinded me as I was working in the dark at the time!

I actually like the site design, I think the black, grey shades and white help the site to show that you offer a premium service. I looked at the fleet of prestige cars and I was unimpressed with the fact that time was not taken to clean exteriors of the cars before photographing them. The cars are your business.. putting dirty cars onto a website is not good... I refer to the Range Rover especially. The photography for all cars should be as well thought about as with the Bentley. Maybe include a chauffeur to pose with the cars etc.

Probably academic as the guy never came back - but I don't think white font on a black background works either.

That must be a first - agreeing with Indi and Princess Leah!

He or she has been banned. If folk want to press ahead and abuse a forum, so be it, but they will get the chop when Auntie Sandie catches up with them

Christ Leah, for a moment there I thought you had lost your mojo, then I realised I had missed the last u out of elitechauffeur and ended up on the wrong site for comparison!

I do like the way the website looks on a whole especially the black, although I do get where alot of people are coming from in that the text is a little hard to read.

Another market you could consider (you will probably hate me for suggesting it so I apologise in advance) is that of end of school proms. Ehhk I've said it. I know, even I don't think that it fits in with the service you seem to be offering on your website but it is a big thing these days for the kids to turn up in Limos, well it is up North anyway! You could always consider it in some form or other or if not just send me an abusive message back!

Yes, it's big business around here for kids limo hire for proms and birthdays.

My friend booked one this week for next Monday night. Got quotes for as much as £250 for a 3-4 mile drive and managed to find one for £50!
