Default Backlinks from A1 business forums

hey guys (and Gals), its the old man here with a silly question. Do the links back to our individual websites (like the one in my signature below), do they stay as backlinks, or do they (as I have been told with some forums) not count I apreciate your answers

One way to evaluate links in general is to imagine you are Google and you trust people based on their links.

Would you trust a link you knew they had created themselves and had absolute control over?

Good answer RedEvo! I never thought of it like that!

I guess having the links in our signature can't have a bad effect on our rankings, so there's no harm in having them!

They might generate some more traffic if not better rankings!

Strange but i have different points of view talking about this idea, Google checks IPs where you link and what you link with. If you link to a trusted website it is good but if they link to you and they have different class c ip as you have its better ..

I'm sure they don't do any harm. And people click on them, bringing more visitors, which can't do any harm either.
