Could you explain what they are meant to do please DT, I am now in melt down mode having tried both and received horrid red warning messages from both. For example on the seo one what are we meant to be looking for, it just brings up accessibility errors.

The first shows the accessbility of your site and it will make out things like missing alt tags etc. I have 22 errors on mine, should be easy to get it down to 1.
The second shows if your website has been coded to the W3C standards, mine has 88 errors, though not really worried that much as some of my main compeititors have more. Always a good idea to fix the errors if you can though.
Well the second one just says mine isn't in the right code (I think that's what it says?)
This page is not Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict!
Result: Failed validation, 16 Errors
Address:
Encoding: utf-8
Doctype: XHTML 1.0 Strict
Root Element: html
and the first one just says I have 15 accessibility errors but because most of the site is members only I imagine that can't be fixed?
Only 16! No need to complain, mine has 110!
On the second one, I would suggest fixing the red 'h' flags, shows the h tags are missing content, but the rest is quite good. Nothing to worry about it.
