A short while ago someone suggested the best way for me to demonstrate I can get an article to page one of Google search engine for a general term (not a weird term no one ever searches) is to write my own for myself.
I have thus done so.
The term
'article writer uk'
Places me all over page one of Google. (2,3,4,5,and 10)
However article writer Uk isn't searched highly (22 monthly) thus I also aimed for a good page rank for the much more general term
article writer
search results for this exact term are:
1,600 searches at last count monthly
Where I was able to grab page 2 (16 and 17) with a couple of my articles. One is posted on articlebase and the other digital journal. Both articles have also been published elsewhere which may be why they are not on page 1.
ps, page 1 (3rd) also for
'freelance article writer'
and a few other related terms that are actually searched.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...oq=&aqi=g-p1g1
170 searches monthly
page 2 for
seo article writer
(13 & 20)
110 searches monthly
No doubt some people will poo poo these results based on search frequency, but given the vast amount of article writers on the Internet, it's not bad.
You'll note that no articles are nonsensical or keyword stuffed. Proving I hope that keyword stuffing isn't what will take you to page 1.
Meanwhile results like this cannot be guaranteed and searchengines may change your position at any time.
