Keywords and area results?

Right, I think I already know the answer to this but I'm going to put it out there for some advice anyway just to make sure.

I want to start a forum...and no, I hate to disappoint but it's not going to rival A1 (I wish lol!). Anyhow, I've been doing some research on keyword rich domain names. There's a couple available to choose from but the confusion is because of the area which Google Keyword Tool is giving me results for... I'm not sure if they relate to UK searches only or the results unclude all countries??? Unless I've gone completely mad, the info under the Global monthly search volume used to say that the results were given relative to your specific area or something of that nature but now it says:

' ... includes traffic in all countries and languages and is specific to your selection from the Match Type drop-down menu. If we don't have sufficient data for a particular keyword, you'll see not enough data. '

I've used the exact match but there isn't an option anywhere to give me UK results only so does this mean it's giving me results from every country for people who've searched for those keywords or is it giving me results for people who have searched for these keywords using Google.co.uk as opposed to .com! Phew....hope you get what I'm talking about here- even I'm starting to question whether the old grey matter didn't drop off the pillow in my sleep today lol!
