Default Good SEO company

I know most of us on here do SEO ourselves and this is why this section is here but, has anybody used an SEO company that they could recomend? or is there anybody on A1 that offers a service?

I am not doing bad but want to do better I am 13 on google for search term Manchester Airport Parking but obviously want to make page 1. I have recently moved from 63 to 48 for search term airport parking and want to keep rising but have hit a brick wall.

I am concidering paying somebody for good avice and thought I would check in here first.

Can anybody help?

I would say put the title tag immedietely under the head tag and make use of your empty alt tags as a start. All that javascript isn't going to help either.

Then a lot of good quality link building.

I'd study this thread quite closely. You have an issue here. Check your website without the www.

I'd look at your site code. I did a search for a space and the page does something very odd.......a code error.

Perhaps improve your title tag, something like "Manchester Airport Parking, Park for Less at Manchester Airport". You can read more about title tags here.

I'm also a little concerned about your homepage copy. Reads spammy to me. Make it read naturally and perhaps consider latent semantic indexing.

If you are about Manchester what are all those other links at the bottom for? Might not be helping.

This should give you food for thought.

Thanks RedEvo for your comments. I thought there would be a few tweaks here and there but you have kind of suggested I change my homepage completely.

I am willing to do this but am scared that if I do I will lose the position I already have if I dont do it correctly rather than gaining. Could I make the changes one at a time to check the results? If so which would you suggest I change first and so forth?

I used to do airport parking accross the board before I specialised in Manchester so thats why the links are there.

Mick with ref to the above. All the alt tags missing text are for decorative purposes only. I thought I need to leave these blank so as not to bore my visitors with such text as "image header" etc. I didnt want to load them with keywords as this could be concidered spammy. Please read below.

I hear what you are saying about the link buidling and this is a constant battle I struggle with.

Hi - I offer keyword research reports - I have an offer on through March (I'll honour it into April for you) - A full keyword research report is £45.
This should really be the start of any SEO project.

The report contains the number of daily searches and competition for your current keywords and those of 3 of your competitors - plus some other ones which will come up through the research.

I've done reports for quite a few people of these forums, so feel free to get references etc.

If you're interested or want to know more, let me know

As my past experience people can reach at first and second page easily but after that they can not maintain their position and loose it quickly.

It is very hard to hold your position on first page. For that you need some one who dedicate with it and constantly monitor it and maintain it. That you can get from seo services Provider Company or Seo consultant. And it is advisable.

Well, there are some exceptional SEO's on this Forum (and thread)

But, if you specifically want to learn yourself my good friend Ray (known as Tin) of Tin Soldier Design runs an exceptional 2 day telephone course to learn SEO - it's £900 - but money well spent. His good lady is a member here - Piglet - if you wanted to get in touch via the Forum
