Please can someone try to explain how this site has a PR3. They have 6 incoming links according to Yahoo, none of them particularly relevant, no meta description or page title and they are a new site. So how come they get a PR3??

Me bloody router was knackered so I aintnt in a very good fettle, as now have so much to catch up on and half my software is refusing to work ..... just to pee me off I think.
So what could be in their sitemap (not that they have one) that would cause that, they seem to have 21 accessable pages and a standard off the shelf dating script.

Sally's right they havent got much to write home about with regards SEO, and I cant find a date on WayBack so short of checking whois date for the domain, dont know how old it is, which could be one factor perhaps. However, I also got one of my brand new (then) websites to PR3 within 2 months and PR 4 a few months later. As stated, the PR isnt always reflective of how successful (or not) your site is.
I bought my domain in Jan 2005 and indexed it in holiding pages from 6 months prior to laun ching the site and doing any SEO. Clearly this helps otherwise you are working from a standing start.
Everything is hidden Al, we had it set differently and then members profiles kept popping up on google so we had to hide all the pages from google. Not sure how I'm going to get round that one to be honest.
Although the 2 blogs should surely come up as indexed pages as well as the site ones? One minute I am off to count pages.
Oh bugger is my day going to get worse?
