Who is gonna be brave enough and give Fuzzy in an easy peasy lemon squeezy style a brief intorduction to keywords......what they mean and how you suss them all out ?

Fuzzy, the keywords are simply what a person might type into the search engines to find your products and services.

So, you can guess the phrases, but it is much better to use tools that give you an indication of what people are *actually* typing.

Once you have this information you can plan your site, pages and copy and optimise the site for the KW's identified

Ray are you referring to the tools 'wordtracker' and 'overture' to help you find the best keywords?

Yes I am indeed, plus I'm also a fan of the google adwords KW tool

Yeah that one you gave to me Ray was better than the one Fuzzy was using, so give her that

Also Fuzzy, just watching the Matt Cutts video and he defined keywords really simply as the words and terms you expect people to type in to find your site, so keep that in mind as well as looking at the direct figures of how often those terms are actually searched for
