Is the sand box dead.?
Just put up a new site and gone straight in with a No 3 on google.
Been wacking up some meaty links.I suspect it may stay there.? Any opinions on beating the Sand Box and does it still exist.? Alvin

The google sand box effect is still there, judging by a couple of our new client sites. It usually kicks in for popular competitive search terms, so it is still possible to rank highly for less popular terms and more specific long tail terms.
