doing a big SEO re-work on one of my sites and would like some expert input...
Let's assume that the site I am working on is over 2 years old and I do not wish to change the domain name to a KWR one due to age deflation.
If I create a sub folder such as www mydomain co uk/NEW STUFF/ and all the sub sections etc go into a folder such as CONTENT would the SEO work be impinge on it being below the top level? (the structure would then be mydomain/NEW STUFF/CONTENT/)
The thinking is that I am building a few MICRO sites that offer different products/services to my top level domain...
Or...is the age deflation over thought and should I buy a KWR name and put the new content from the old site onto the new name and 301
