Take advantage of 'Google Local Business' !!

So many businesses I speak to don't take advantage of Google Local, it's a free service from Google that can place your business / Website at the top of page one for keywords relative to your business and locality. Follow the above link and spend ten minutes to half an hour filling it in. You can have a new site on Googles results (local) within an hour.

Yes, I think a lot of people are missing out not using the Google Business Centre.

I have also got quite a few good Google page 1 local listings by being registered with FreeIndex.

Freeindex are really good I agree, we have a number of clients that get some really good traffic from there. Not hundreds of hits but qualified traffic that turn to leads.

its also the name repetition, so being seen 2-3 times is good. So for example once in your own naturual listing, once in a google local listing, and once in a directory, all on page 1. You simply have to max them all out!!

I would agree freeindex is Good and I also agree the more local listings you an get from good sources the better

I Agree you really should be on Google Local Businesses.

I've seen my business appear for quite a few different search terms in the local box.

If its free, get in why you can because knowing Google as soon as they perfect local searches there will most likely be a charge
